For this Hannover 96 Gameday Graphic, created for the friendly match against Cagliari Calcio on July 26, 2025, I used a double exposure design to capture the energy of the moment. The foreground features a cutout of Enzo Leopold with the ball, while the background shows him again in a mid-shot, emphasizing the dynamic action.
The overall background was generated with AI, blending a photo of the Heinz von Heiden Arena with an image of a fan holding a scarf, which I merged using ChatGPT. This unique approach created a layered visual that connects the game with the passion of the fans.
The aesthetic of the design is inspired by American college style using layer styles as well as grunge textures, and I particularly love how the combination of the green background and the red Hannover kits came together. It’s bold and in-your-face, yet it works seamlessly, striking a balance between vibrant energy and cohesion that I find especially compelling.
